SOTD’s Patron Saints
I could never pick one!
I will probably add more as time moves on, but for now —
Here are the two patroness of this blog.
1 — Saint Anne
(Mary’s Mother) — Patroness of Equestrions

Information on Saint Anne ::
She was mother of Mary, thus grandmother to Jesus Christ. Mary was her only child, whom she gave birth to when she was quite elderly. It is believed that she gave Mary to the service of the Temple when the girl was only three years old.
She’s the patroness of a huge amount of things! ::

2 — Saint Mother Theodore Guerin // Saint Theodora
(Founder of the college that I wish to attend)

Here’s a bit of intresting information on her ::
The first miracle attributed to Guérin is said to have occurred in 1908. Before going to bed, Sister Mary Theodosia Mug prayed at Guérin’s tomb to be healed of her damaged nerves, poor eyesight, breast cancer and an abdominal tumor. When she awoke the next day, Sister Mary was healed.
The second of the miracles is attributed to her because of the medical condition of Phil McCord of Terre Haute, Indiana. McCord, who had worked at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, says that he was going by the church at the college and was drawn in by some organ music. While there he felt compelled to pray to Guérin. He prayed for his vision to be restored or else he would have to risk dangerous surgery for a corneal transplant. His eyes were bad enough to have him declared legally blind since he was rated as 20-800 in one eye and 20-1000 in the other. After praying, he went home and when he awoke the next morning, his vision had returned to 20-20, and his eye now needed only laser treatment to remove old tissue.
